Job Title: Research Associate/ Senior Research Associate
Job Location: Bangalore
Department: Chemical Development – Performance Specialty Materials
Educational Qualification: MSc (Organic Chemistry)
Experience: 3 – 6 years
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Experience in an R&D environment, preferably in organic synthesis and related field.
- An understanding of various organic synthetic methodologies
- Experience in small molecules characterization with various analytical techniques
- Excellent laboratory experimental skills for Process R&D.
- Experience in reactions on large scales in kilo lab, pilot plant, and the plant is desirable.
cGMP knowledge preferred. - Good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer knowledge e.g.; MS – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows, etc.
- Experience in scientific literature search
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of the laboratory experiments associated with the assigned projects.
- Responsible for execution of the assigned laboratory experiments (project) for Process R&D and scale-up.
- Transfer the process from small to large scale.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of resources for the projects.
- Ensure that all assigned work is delivered in a timely manner and all associated requirements, objectives, and targets are fully met
- Maintain laboratory records and data systems.
- Prepare updates/reports for effective internal communication.
- Proactively identifies, reports on and improves safety issues in the laboratory area.
- Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene’s data integrity policies.
- Compliance to Syngene’s s quality standards at all times.
