For Sartorius Stedim India Pvt. Ltd., They are looking for a process engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible to handle RFQ for Sartorius Chromatography and single-use TFF system- Single point contact for internal stalk holders and timely submission of quote documents- Coordination with technical and sales team to provide process solutions and align with a final proposal to the customer.
Job Title: Process Engineer
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Degree in Biotech / Chemical / Process Engineering preferably with a focus on Biotech
- Alternatively, candidate have a comparable education with relevant professional experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry and have gained initial experience in Process Engineering
- Minimum of 4-5-year experience in designing the Biotech Projects
- Should have strong knowledge on layout designing of Biotech Projects including Drug Products & Drug Substance.
- Responsible for bioprocess engineering of biopharmaceutical systems, process design documents (e.g. PFD, PID), and functional design documents (e.g. Process Description)
- Performing process calculations like heat & mass balance, Utility sizing
- Should possess sound knowledge on equipment selection criteria like Fermentation Bioreactors, TFF, Chromatography, Filling Lines, etc.
- Review and approval of design documents
- Responsibility for on-time and target-oriented processing after receiving the assignment of work packages
- Point of contact for internal and external communication in the area of responsibility (internal consultant for the project team – a translator from customer requirements into the project)
- Technical support of manufacturing process related to process design
- Process consultancy support of FAT/SAT activities
- A high level of customer orientation, communication skills, and assertiveness round off your profile
- We require business fluent English skills and a willingness to travel nationally and Internationally (approx. 20%)
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Technical clarification of customer requests in cooperation with the Sales and sub-divisional stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers
- Review of customer URS, preparation of deviation list, and proposing alternative technical solutions
- Process design and process simulation based on different process & device platforms
- Preparation of technical and commercial quotations incl. technical descriptions/specifications, commercial calculation of CAPEX (fix & variable costs) and OPEX
- Responsible for design documents and quotation attachments (e.g. PID, PFD, time schedule)
- Support during technical and commercial customer meetings/contractual negotiations
