Job Purpose:

The candidate shall be responsible for method development, validation and stability testing.

Key Responsibilities for the Chemistry job at Syngene as Executive:

• Experience in analysis of method development for Assay and Related Substances for formulation products.
• Experience in handling HPLC (Waters) with Empower-3 software.
• Experience in handling GC, VU Visible spectrophotometer, KF and Autotirator.
• Experience in Validation of Analytical test methods (Assay

& Related Substances).
• Knowledge of the preparation of raw data sheets, Standard Operating Procedures.
• Shall be responsible for procurement and inventory maintenance of Pharmacopeial Standards/Chemicals/Reagents/Consumables/Spares etc. required for the projects.
• Shall operate the MS-office (word, excel, ppt), outlook and other basic tools required for routine activity
• Shall adhere to the procedure of GxP/Good Manufacturing Practices/Safety and as per the procedure defined in the internal standard operation procedure
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures the imparted company

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of analytical method development, validation and stability activities for formulations (Injectables and Parentals).
• Hands-on with HPLC, GC, Auto titrator, UV, IR and other analytical instruments.
• Theoretical knowledge of Chromatography and spectroscopy technique
• Able to work follow instructions and perform tasks under the supervision of the Team leader
• Preparation and Maintenance of all the documents
• Good knowledge of MS-office (word, excel, ppt)

Behavioral Skills:

• Should have good coordination skills with other cross-functional teams.
• Good Team player.
• Polite/Good Communication skills

Educational Qualification:

• B. Sc / B. Pharm / M. Sc

Experience:

• Should have 3-6 years of experience in an analytical lab

I have experience in utilizing HPLC (Waters) with Empower-3 software for method development and analysis. I am familiar with the process of method optimization, parameter determination, and ensuring method suitability and robustness through validation protocols.

Question: How proficient are you in handling analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, Auto titrator, UV, and IR?
Answer: I have extensive hands-on experience in operating a variety of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, Auto titrator, UV spectrophotometer, and IR spectrophotometer. I am skilled in instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and method optimization. I understand the importance of accurate data acquisition and interpretation using these instruments and ensure their proper maintenance and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Question: Can you explain your familiarity with GxP/GMP guidelines and safety procedures in a laboratory setting?
Answer: I have a strong understanding of GxP (Good x Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. I am well-versed in following standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols within the laboratory. Answer: In my previous roles, I have been responsible for the procurement and inventory management of Pharmacopeial Standards, Chemicals, Reagents, Consumables, and Spares required for analytical projects. I have developed strong vendor relationships, negotiated favorable pricing, and maintained an organized system for tracking and replenishing supplies. I understand the importance of timely procurement to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
