Job Description
In this Regional Lab Chemist role, the candidate will be responsible for understanding technical requests from sales personnel and regional managers, preparing admixture samples, conducting concrete trials, and coordinating with the sales team and concrete technologists. The role also involves sourcing raw materials and maintaining sufficient inventory for testing developed products at the FOSROC lab and conducting final trials or demonstrations at job sites or third-party labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand technical requests from sales personnel and regional managers.
- Prepare admixture samples as directed by the formulator and regional manager.
- Conduct concrete trials as per relevant codes and instructions.
- Coordinate with sales teams and concrete technologists for field trials.
- Arrange competitor samples from different job sites for benchmarking.
- Sourcing and maintaining inventory of raw materials from respective factories.
- Test developed products at the FOSROC lab and conduct final demonstrations.
