- Job Post: Lab Technician
- Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
- Experience: with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a textile testing laboratory.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in textiles or B.Sc [physics, Chemistry] or Graduate
Job Purpose: To carry out testing as assigned by the Laboratory Manager/Executive/Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- To conduct all allotted tests as per the procedure/method given in the worksheet or as instructed by the Supervisor or above.
- To keep all necessary records of the tests conducted in the format given.
- To keep the test area clean and maintain impeccable housekeeping all around.
- To maintain the equipment logbook and calibration records up to date.
- To give the required information about the progress of the jobs on hand to the coordinators.
- To bring to the notice of the Supervisor any discrepancy in test material, method, or equipment.
- Ensure the test reports are on time and review them while entering them in the worksheet.
- Responsible for reviewing all data sheets and ensuring accurate lab results.
- Effective Monitoring and utilization of Lab consumables.
- Ensuring the safety of personnel while working by using appropriate PPE.
