Project Details
- Project Title: Analytical Activities under Customer Service & RFL (TSP 56)
- Duration: Initially up to March 31, 2026; extendable up to two years based on project requirements or until project completion, whichever is earlier
- Location: CSIR–CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka
Position & Stipend
- Name of Position: Project Associate–I (PAT-I)
- Number of Positions: 01
- Emoluments: ₹25,000 + HRA per month
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Chemistry / Agricultural Science / Food Science & Technology
- Job Requirement: R&D, analytical, and laboratory work.

Desirable Qualification / Experience
Experience in a reputed R&D institute in areas such as:
- Oils and fat analysis
- Modern analytical instrumentation
- Method validation
- MS-Office tools
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated analytical research skills.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must not be more than 35 years of age as of 16 October 2025.
- Applicants must have completed their qualifying degree; results awaited or appearing candidates are not eligible.
- Experience shall be counted only after acquiring the essential qualification.
- Candidates having completed six years as Project Staff in any CSIR lab/institute are not eligible as per CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD dated 02.09.2024.
Selection Process
- Applications will be shortlisted by a committee based on requirements.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Terms & Conditions for CFTRI Recruitment 2025
- Engagement is temporary and co-terminus with the project or a maximum of six years in total across CSIR labs.
- Engagement does not confer any right for regularization or permanent employment in CSIR–CFTRI/CSIR.
- Candidates working in CSIR must submit NOC and a No Dues Certificate before joining.
- Engagement duration may be extended or curtailed based on performance and project needs.
