Desirable Experience
Candidates with experience in polymeric membrane synthesis and
characterization are desirable. The candidate will work on an ANRF-funded Advanced Research Grant (ARG) project entitled “Fabrication of novel hollow fiber and cross-flow membrane module with smart real-time fouling mitigation assembly to tackle charged foulantsfor high throughput applications”. Responsibilities include polymeric membrane synthesis, characterization, process development, and demonstration of processes.
Emoluments: Emoluments as per ANRF guidelines. Rs. 37,000/- pm + HRA for scholars selected through any one of the following: Scholars selected through National eligibility tests- CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE, or through National level examinations conducted by the central Government department and their agencies, and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, DAE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
Age: For Project JRF, the maximum age is 28 years as on the last date of receipt of applications through email, i.e., 24th April, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Duration: These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Engagement of project staff in different projects, either in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, or different labs/institutes of CSIR, shall not exceed 6 years in any case. It would not confer any implicit or explicit rights or claims for any candidate for extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
