CBMR Lucknow is inviting applications from exceptionally bright and motivated candidates for the position of 02 Research Associates (temporary, ad hoc). Applications should be submitted in the prescribed format along with supporting documents.
Position Details:
- Position: Research Associate
- Tenure: Maximum 03 years
- Department: Department of Biomedical Engineering and Devices

- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years.
Essential and Desirable Qualifications:
- Essential: PhD in Chemistry or equivalent degree.
- Alternatively, candidates with 3 years of research, teaching, and development experience after ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in an SCI journal are eligible.
- Desirable: Research experience in Biomedical Devices or expertise in NMR Spectroscopy, Clinical Metabolomics workflows, and biomedical data.
General Terms and Conditions:
- Last date for receipt of hard copy of the application: 27.04.2026 up to 5.00 pm.
- Cut-off Date for determining the qualification, experience, and upper age limit: 01.01.2026.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST: 05 years; OBC: 03 years. No relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved seats.
- Horizontal reservation applicable as per UP Government rules.
- Duration: Initially tenable for one year, with possible extensions based on yearly performance evaluations.
Stipend:
- 1st Year: ₹47,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹49,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹54,000 per month
Selection Procedure:
- Selection through interview, assessing academic records and published/project work by a high-level expert committee.
- Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call. Candidates will be shortlisted based on CBMR’s criteria.
- The award letter validity is for six months from the mentioned date, with no extensions.
