General Instructions for Chemistry Internship & VSSC Careers Applicants

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • Students who have pursued or are pursuing courses in the disciplines of Science/Technology, which are relevant to DoS/ISRO Programmes alone, will be considered for this Chemistry Internship under ISRO Careers.
  • The number of students selected for internship may vary due to facility constraints. It is the prerogative of VSSC to accept/reject the application.
  • On account of the large number of applications received for the internship, it may not be possible to accommodate all the applicants. It is advised to identify other organizations as an alternative in the event that the application does not get through the selection process.
  • A student will be allowed to pursue only one internship for each degree course.
  • The student shall be permitted to carry out an internship only at the “Unclassified Areas of VSSC/ISRO”.
  • Eligibility for applying to this Chemistry Internship is an aggregate mark of a minimum 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10.

Eligibility for VSSC Internship (ISRO Careers)

  • Internship is offered to students from a recognized University/ Institution (India/Abroad) who are:
    • enrolled and pursuing regular on-campus courses
    • completed course as a regular on-campus student on or after 14-02-2025

Minimum Criteria for VSSC Chemistry Internship

Course Should have completed Minimum Marks
BE/B Tech/B Sc (Phy/Chem)/ Integrated M Sc/BS-MS (Phy/Chem)/Integrated MTech 4th semester at the time of applying Marks upto Previous Semester
ME/M Tech/M Sc 1st semester at the time of applying Mark of Qualifying Degree
PhD Course work Mark of Qualifying Degree

Stipend for ISRO Careers Internship

No stipend/remuneration/financial assistance will be given by VSSC/ISRO during the period of internship.

Internship Duration

The duration of the Internship will be a minimum of 21 days and a maximum of 45 days.

Documents Required

Any other relevant information, including educational qualifications/mark lists, previous internship/project done (if any), technical skills, area of interest, work experience (if any), etc., can be uploaded in Supporting information as a single PDF (max size 5 MB).
