Advertisement for Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in an ANRF-ARG-funded project. Details are given below:

Project Title

Tailoring Short-chain dehydrogenase/reductases (SDRs) for Catalytic Versatility via Structure-Guided Engineering

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Vacancies: 01

Emoluments: ₹37,000/- per month for the first two years and ₹42,000/- per month for the third year

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry selected through a process described through any one of the following:

  1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lecturership (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
  2. The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions, such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.

Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates having practical experience in organic synthesis.

Age Limit: Upper age limit: 28 Years (Age relaxation will be provided as per GOI norms)

Tenure: Till the end of the project (March 2029).
