Scholarships/Fellowships/Benefits
- All selected candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs. 36,000/- and can be up to Rs. 60,000/- per month
- JRF/SRFS with their own fellowships will receive an additional Rs. 18,000/month as
- Maintenance Allowance (over and above their regular fellowship)
- Tuition fees waiver and Professional Development Grant (PDG) for research activities, conferences/ workshop/seminar participation, travel expenses, etc.
- Subsidised boarding & lodging/transport facility
- Support for international journal publications and patent filing
Mode of Selection
- First-level screening will be based on an online examination.
- Selected candidates will be called for a written test and/or an interview at the SRM
- University-AP campus (Travel allowance will be provided).
- Candidates with a valid GATE score in the last two years and qualified in national tests like NBHM, UGC/CSIR NET, ICMR/ICAR, etc., are exempted from the written test and will have a direct interview with the department research committee members.
Eligibility
Master’s degree in the relevant subject; final-year Master’s students may also apply.
Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree and at least 80% aggregate (or equivalent grade) are also eligible.
