Desired Profile : B.Pharma – Pharmacy; M.Pharma – Pharmacy
Role and Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize and coordinate pharmacy services and operations. Ensuring inventory needs are assessed and adequate inventory levels are maintained.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Develop policies, procedures and the Drug Formulary.
- Accountable for legal custody, dispensing and record keeping of controlled substances in compliance with the law.
- Understand, interpret, explain and apply laws, rules and regulations.
- Supervise, direct, schedule, train and evaluate the work of assigned staff.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed; orders, receives and returns.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Develop and maintain cost effective pharmacy services. Overseeing and coordinating billing of pharmacy services.
- Prepare and present clear and concise reports and correspondence.
- Handle customer complaints
- Verification of stock balance.
- Develop all policies, procedures and training manuals as well as quality assurance programs
- The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for a system for disposing of infectious wastes
