be conducted for the selection of Research Associate-I (RA-I) and Young Professional-I (YP-I) on a contract basis at NIFTEM-T, Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu) on 24/03/2026 at 9.30 AM. General Instructions
- Age Limit for RA-I/YP-I as on date of interview: 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
- Application Fee: Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates are exempted from payment of fees).
- Candidates are requested to fill out the application form as per the format provided on the Institute website.
- The filled-in application form (hard copy) should be submitted along with all necessary documents/certificates copies during the time of the interview for verification.
- The interview will be in person only at NIFTEM-T, Thanjavur. Candidates fulfilling the above eligible criteria are advised to be present on 24.03.2026 with original certificates, including OBC/SC/ST/PH certificates, grade card/mark sheets/publications, two numbers of color passport-size photographs and CV, as well as a set of photocopies of all relevant documents along with the application form prescribed by NIFTEM-T at the time of the walk-in-interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- The appointments are purely on a temporary and time-bound basis.
- Selected candidates will have to work six days a week, except for the second Saturday and Government holidays.
- Tenure for RA-I/YP-I: Tenure will be until the completion of the Project Period. However, the selected candidate is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereto. If a candidate intends to terminate his/her engagement on their own volition, the candidate will have to give a one-month notice period in advance in writing or pay an amount equivalent to the monthly consolidated amount in lieu of notice period.
- The selected candidate shall devote his/her whole time and attention to the interest of the assigned project and other related works assigned from time to time by the concerned PI/other superiors. In case the candidate’s performance is found to be unsatisfactory, candidate engagement can be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof.
- The Institute reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend/withdraw the recruitment process without assigning any reason. The decision of the Institute shall be final, and no appeal in this regard shall be entertained. The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason.
