Job Description-04A: The Associate Scientist will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities (04A)

  1. Planning and executing the experiments as per instructions/procedure.
  2. Interpretation of experimental results and propose process improvements.
  3. Preparing reports on project status and updating regularly.
  4. Support for documentation and involvement in lab activities.
  5. Time management and Good Documentation practices.
  6. Training and adhering to Non GMP/cGMP procedures.
  7. Training and adhering to EHS procedures.
  8. Capable of performing literature search for alternative route of synthesis for intermediates, API, and impurities (Safe, Cost-effective, and robust process).
  9. Supporting KGL/TT/MS&T departments for Technology transfer at manufacturing scale in the plant and in resolving all the issues during scale-up and suggesting modifications to develop a scalable and robust process.

Qualifications: The candidate should hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry, possess strong communication skills, and have basic computer proficiency. One to two years of industrial experience in chemical synthesis is preferred, including hands-on work in laboratory-scale reactions, process optimization, data documentation, and adherence to EHS and non‑GMP/cGMP practices. Exposure to route scouting, impurity handling, or scale‑up support activities will be an added advantage.
