Educational Qualifications:

M.Sc/M.Pharm in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry. MSc/M. Pharm in any branch of Life Sciences with hands-on experience in organic compound synthesis may apply. However, candidates with an MSc/M.Pharm in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry with industrial experience would be given preference. The candidates should have qualified for any ‘National Level Examination’, i.e., GATE/NET, etc.

Job Description:

The main work elements of this JRF Job consist of the chemical synthesis of small-molecule organic compounds.

Emoluments:

The selected candidates will receive consolidated emoluments in accordance with Institute Rules, based on qualifications & experience. Rs. 37,000/- per month plus 24% HRA (As per funding agency norms)

General Terms & Conditions:

  1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or the duration of the project, whichever is shorter, at a time.
  2. No hostel/housing facility will be provided.
  3. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to, i.e., SC/ST/OBC/PH, and attach documentary proof of the same.
  4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
  5. Apart from sending an application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send a complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and a list of publications.
  6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
  7. The Interviews will be held in offline/online mode.
