Applications are invited for a temporary or contractual post of ‘Project Scientist’ under the project entitled “Printed Flexible OLED Labels for Displays in the Packaging” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.
Minimum Qualification:
- PhD OR Postgraduate + 3 years relevant experience.
Desirable Qualification & Experience:
- PhD in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science, M.Tech in Material Science, Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in OPV/OLED device fabrication using solution processing and their characterization.
- Familiar with Ink characterization techniques like rheology, surface tension, and viscosity.
- Hands-on working experience with solution processing for organic device fabrication such as OLEDs, solar cells and in electronic material characterization such as XRD, profilometer, SEM, AFM etc., and device characterization such as electrical conductivity, CV, impedance measurements etc.
- Electrical characterization of functional inks and OLED/OPV fabrication and characterization.
- Understanding of physical mechanisms governing the properties of thin film electronic devices fabricated by solution processing or printing.
Nature of Work:
- Fabrication of OLED devices by printing technologies and device characterization.
- Development of process SOPs.
- Extensive documentation and reporting of developed processes and recipes.
- Guide and train junior employees.
Salary: 31600-2600-78400/- per month based on qualification.
Duration of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on a temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of one year or until the end of the project, whichever is earlier.
