Job Responsibilities
Testing & Analysis of Petroleum products for receipts and deliveries to and from Terminals and Depot. Calibrating the measuring instruments to provide quality service to customers, complying with Quality Maintenance Systems (ISO), HSSE & Statutory norms.

Job Accountabilities
Minimum operating and transit losses
Verify calibration of Hydrometers and Thermometers used in Laboratory, Tank farm, and Road Gantry periodically, and

also for Retail outlets for the right accounting of products and Loss / Gain.

Reduction in costs
Optimal use of chemicals and consumables. Monitor and control costs against the budget. Coordinate with Technical Services Jamnagar for disposal of off-spec.

Achievement of the Q & Q proposition and customer satisfaction
Analyze various product samples (including RO samples) and publish Test results in a timely manner, along with uploading to LIMS for the on-time release of products. Responsible for arranging maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment by competent authorities wherever required. Verification of two hourly densities vis-à-vis batch formation density and monitoring the quality of Products stored at the Location.

Total compliance with Operations, HSSE, and Quality management system and maintenance procedures
Ensure adherence to IQCM in all receipt, storage, and delivery operations by all departments to ensure quality assurance to the customers. Undertake a QC audit once in six months. Compliance with all ISO requirements. Investigate cases of density variation, if any, due to layering, etc., at the terminal and complaints on the same received from ROs/customers, and initiate appropriate action/advise. Ensure the use of PPEs and the system of work permits. Coordinate to fulfill all statutory requirements. Coordinate for the procurement of laboratory glassware and chemicals/consumables.

Learning and Development
Total compliance with Operations, HSSE, and Quality management system and maintenance procedures. Also share/train lab assistant, gantry in-charge, and tank-farm in-charge on all the test methods/test procedures, including calibration of lab equipment. Conduct toolbox talks to the TT crew and the Agency staff on sampling and gauging.

Education Requirement
Graduate/ Post Graduate in Chemistry

Experience Requirement
Minimum 2-year experience in Lab in RRTF/ Plant
