The Position

- Reporting Manager: Senior Manager- Chemical Research
Key Responsibilities
- New Product Development
– Selected route of synthesis process optimization for all the steps
– Synthesis of compound as per internal specification
– Synthesis of possible and process impurities
– Synthesis of internal reference standard samples
– Stability sample preparation - Cost Reduction
– Optimization of the process for reducing cost as per the project objective
– Yield improvement
– Input reagent norms reduction
– Final optimized process tech transfers to the plant. - Scale-up, Plant Support/Business Support
– Scale-up of all the intermediates and final compounds as per specification
– Performance trial to support plant activity
– Preparation sample for customer seeding - Data entry and Document preparation:
– Entry of experiments in ELN and closing
– Archiving of analytical data as per internal practice - Lab Responsibilities and Safety
– Taking care of assigned lab responsibilities
– Adhere to lab safety and adopt the highest standard of safety in the process development of all projects
– Attending safety meetings and training
The Person
Qualifications & Experience:
- MSc organic chemistry
- 2-3 Years of Industrial Experience
- Knowledge of Process Chemistry and Developing impurities
- Good command of recent developments in the relevant field.
