Walk-in Interview for a JRF Position in a DBT-funded Project
Project Title: Biomanufacturing Feasibility of Underutilized Microbial CO2 Fixation Pathways and Non-model Strains: Metabolic Profiling, Bioprocess Optimization, and Industrial Viability Assessment
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sunil A. Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences
Number of Positions: 01 JRF (Junior Research Fellow)
Duration: Initially for 1 year, with the possibility of extension to another year, subject to satisfactory performance
and the availability of funds. The notice period for termination is one month.Junior Research Fellow:
Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in the Biotechnology or Microbiology discipline with a good academic track record as per DBT manpower recruitment guidelines. Candidates with a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Bioscience & Bioengineering OR Chemical Engineering will also be considered. Applicants should also have qualified for one of the following: CSIR/UGC National Eligibility Test/, GATE, or equivalent national-level exams.
Desired Qualification: Prior research experience/hands-on training in anaerobic microbiology and Analytical techniques, such as HPLC/LC-MS, GC (gas analysis), and GC-MS, is desired.
Salary: INR 37,000 plus HRA as per DBT norms.
