Job Responsibilities:
- Implement Quality Management System, procedures & standards for regulatory compliance and external accreditation.
- Risk identification and management, with a process of escalation and periodic reviews.
- Establish quality systems and operating procedures to ensure product integrity.
- Approve SOPs impacting product quality and make decisions on materials, products & services.
- Manage the laboratory with precision instruments and ensure excellent chemical and microbiological facilities.
- Make quick decisions under uncertain situations to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure the sustainability of systems & procedures via self-inspection/quality audits.
- Train human resources to optimize performance and add value to plant operations.
- Conduct plant operational tests to investigate out-of-specification inputs.
- Adhere to SHE guidelines for a safe working environment and CSHEC audit compliance.
- Promote quality awareness through site-wide training programs.
- Practice cost-effective measures to maintain product norms.
- Coach staff and promote Unilever’s Spirit & Operational Excellence culture.
- Liaise with Government authorities (FDA, Weights & Measures Department) for compliance.
- Conduct process audits, identify gaps, and ensure timely closure.
- Conduct Quality Meetings and execute QIPs to achieve targets.
- Sound knowledge of Microbiology, Liquids Manufacturing/Quality Control.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / M.Sc. Microbiology / M.Sc. Chemistry / M Pharm, preferably in the Pharma, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
- Experience: Minimum 2 – 3 Years in the relevant field/ Pharma / FMCG company.
