About the Job
We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineering Graduate to join our team in the water and wastewater treatment sector. This role offers hands-on working in designing process systems which are critical for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
Your Role
As a Graduate Process Engineer, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation of Process design for:
- Clean water treatment (includes DAF, RGFs, disinfection, membrane filtration, etc).
- Wastewater treatment (includes ASP, RBC, SBR, SAF, MBBR, MBR, etc).
- Chemical dosing system for various applications (includes P removal, pH adjustment, etc).
- Sludge treatment (includes Centrifuge, Filter press, Thickener, etc).
- Odour and septicity treatment.
- The above design comprising the:
- Selection of process and process calculations,
- Preparation of site layout,
- Process Flow Diagram & Mass balance calculations,
- Process & Instrumentation Diagrams,
- Process control philosophy,
- Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Contributing to new innovative ideas/ making suggestions for innovation.
- Able to coordinate with a wider team in multidisciplinary projects.
- Exhibit positive energy and enthusiasm, and is self-motivated.
About You
- B. Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- Possess good communication and soft skills and be able to function independently with minimal supervision or as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Some knowledge of industry, best practices, or regulatory standards, regulations, and codes pertinent to the Water Industry.
