Bruker India is looking for an experienced Associate Remote Support Engineer (Analytical Instruments) to be based in Bengaluru, India.
Responsibilities

Work remotely with customers to diagnose all Bruker Maldi Biotyper products and accessories, including but not limited to.

Diagnose, test & optimize instrument and/or accessory performance to meet specifications.

Create and maintain a record of activity in the support database.

Provide a great customer experience through the entire support process.

Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root cause of their instrument issues.

Effectively communicate with end-users via phone, email, chat, etc., to identify and resolve issues within a short time.

If first-level customer support is unsuccessful, tickets will be pushed to the second-level remote support team.

Job demands occasional onsite support and short-notice travel.

International travel to Europe and the US for training purposes.

Leverage internal technical expertise and tools to provide effective solutions.

Build a knowledge base and contribute FAQs to enable global service.

Accurately document and update tickets in the CRM system.

Maintain communication with customers on all open tickets.

Properly escalate unresolved issues with required data to the next level or the R&D team.

Ability to create and update operational procedures and decision trees.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Rotational shifts, including nights (Monday through Sunday).

Excellent customer relationship skills are a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Customer-focused and passionate about science and technology.

Excellent analytical capabilities and theoretical understanding of physics, electronics, or related fields.

Customer service-oriented experience with technology-based instruments.

Working knowledge of electronics, mechanics, control systems, computers and networking.

Clear and professional communication skills in English.

Knowledge of Salesforce (CRM) and SAP preferred.

Experience with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, Webex, and AnyDesk.

Strong team player with flexible working attitude.

Additional language skills are welcome.
Education – Qualifications
BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, MSc in Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science.
Experience
- Fresh or recent graduates or candidates with less than 1 year of experience with a basic understanding of electronic systems and a strong interest in field service or hotline support are encouraged to apply.
- Technical expertise in electronics and mechanics.
- Confident in handling PC operating systems and networks.
