The upper age limit is relaxable by up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/women, and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualifications
Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Natural Sciences from a recognised University OR any equivalent qualifications duly recognised by the concerned authority as per the functional requirement.
Desirable Qualification/Experience, if any
M.Sc (Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry) with a strong foundation in solid state physics/chemistry and good programming skills (Python/FORTRAN/C++). Familiarity with the Linux operating system (any flavours) is required. Working experience in computational materials science and/or machine learning would be advantageous. Candidates with CSIR-JRF/NET or GATE will be given preference.
Job Requirement
Developing new ML-based models for the project. DFT-based computation will be carried out if required. The candidate should be willing to acquire the skill set needed to complete the project successfully. This role is part of ongoing NCL recruitment, making it a valuable Project Associate Job for those pursuing research careers.
Consolidated Emoluments Per Month
(i) ₹31,000 + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET, including lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE, OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.
(ii) ₹25,000 + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
