Job Description Summary:
Author and maintain SDS and labels globally using the SAP EHS module. Work on CLP poison center notifications. Raw material data maintenance in the SAP EHS module. Work with the business on new product introduction and update existing products in the SAP EHS module. Adjust data as necessary to ensure accuracy of product safety documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the author and review chemical safety data sheets (SDS).
- Author and review hazard communication documents.
- Maintain product safety data in the SAP system.
- Work on poison center notification and product registrations.
- Work with the global Product Safety team to create efficient processes and global alignment.
- Work with the business team and supply chain to set up new products and raw materials in the system and assist in resolving issues related to product safety.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or similar.
- English proficiency required.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
