Job Summary
The QA professional will be responsible for ensuring compliance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and internal quality systems. The role includes reviewing documentation, monitoring quality processes, supporting audits, and ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
· Review and approve Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging
Records (BPRs).
· Handle deviations, change controls, CAPA, and incident investigations.
· Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure adherence to quality standards.
· Participate in internal audits, external regulatory audits, and customer audits.
· Review and update SOPs, work instructions, and other controlled documents.
· Ensure timely closure of audit observations and CAPA activities.
· Monitor quality operations on the shop floor and ensure data integrity practices.
· Coordinate with Production, QC, EHS, and other departments for quality improvements.
· Manage training programs, document control, and quality risk management.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance (USFDA, MHRA, EU).
· Excellent understanding of QA processes in API or formulation manufacturing.
· Good documentation, auditing, and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage workflow independently with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
Qualifications
· B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry / Biotechnology / Related Discipline) B.Pharm / M.Pharm
· 1–10 years of relevant experience in API or formulation QA.
