The Position
- Job Post: – Ass. Officer-IPR
- Location: – Greater Noida
- Department: Intellectual Patent Rights (IPR)
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with a diploma or degree in Patents (IPR)
- Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in Chemistry or Intellectual Property Rights
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and correcting both provisional and full specifications of the paten,t working with a chemist
- STN search for novelty
- Office actions, amendment, renewal fees, etc., for all the filed patents
- Drafting agreement/contract and follow-up of the same
- Periodically checking the patent landscape of the targets currently being pursued
- Collating documents for the IND filing and working with IND consultant
- Maintaining a tracker of all the patents, status, and further process
- Management of Lab notebooks, which includes periodical audit (both paper and e-notebooks), and maintaining a tracker of all the lab notebooks
- Communicating with external attorneys and tracking of proper payments and invoices
