The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore invites applications from enthusiastic and qualified candidates for one Research Associate (RA) and two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions under the research project
“Development of Portable Kit – An Alternative to Traditional Post-Harvest Management” funded by TIH-IIT Bombay as part of the ATMAN 2.0 initiative. This exciting Chemistry Job opportunity offers candidates the chance to contribute to technological innovation in post-harvest management by developing a portable kit and designing a new colourless photosensitizer for food, fruit, and seed storage based on the PDI mechanism.Position Details
Position I: Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility:
- Position – 1: M. Sc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Life Science with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates who have qualified NET/GATE will be given preference.
- Position – 2: MS (Pharma) in Medicinal Chemistry above 8.0 CGPA with 2 Years of Research Experience. Age limit: 32 years, with 5 years relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates.
Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA
Position II: Research Associate
Eligibility: Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Life science with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in the relevant field. Age limit: 35 years, with 5 years relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates.
Stipend: Rs. 55,000/- per month + HRA

The initial appointment is for 1 year and may be extended as per the institute and funding agency guidelines.
