Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: M.Sc/M.Tech./M.Pharm./M.V.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry with at least 55% marks.
- Fellowship: Candidates must hold a valid national fellowship such as CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, or equivalent.
- Candidates awaiting final results may also apply.
- Age Limit: Below 28 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PwD/female and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Selection Procedure
The selection process for the JRF for the PhD program at the Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, will involve three stages:

- Final Interview (Offline): Selected candidates will visit BRIC–ILS for in-person evaluation and faculty interaction.

Fellowship & Benefits
- Fellowship and emoluments will be as per DBT/CSIR/UGC/ICMR guidelines.
- To and fro travel (sleeper class) will be reimbursed for candidates attending the final interview.
- ILS provides technical and academic support for DST-INSPIRE Fellows joining the Ph.D. program.
- Accommodation for candidates attending interviews will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
