Postdoctoral Fellowship on “Novel Biomaterials for Drug Delivery and Tissue Engineering”
Responsibilities & Research Scope:
- Design, synthesize, and characterize novel biomaterials for drug delivery and tissue engineering.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to achieve high-impact outcomes.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to the global biomedical research community.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field with a focus on organic synthesis or polymer chemistry.
- Proven expertise in designing or modifying biopolymers for biomedical use.
- Hands-on experience in drug delivery systems — nanoparticle formulation, hydrogels, microneedles, or controlled-release platforms.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques like NMR, FTIR, GPC, DSC, TGA, HPLC, LC-MS, and rheology.
- Published research in biomaterials, drug delivery, or tissue engineering.
- Experience in cell-material interaction or tissue regeneration (preferred).
- Strong report-writing, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Duration & Emoluments:
- Duration: 2 years (extendable based on performance).
- Salary: ₹75,000 per month (consolidated).
