Research Scientist Job role ensures to lead and execute the development, optimization, and scale-up of robust, cost-effective, and regulatory-compliant chemical processes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and intermediates, ensuring smooth technology transfer from lab to kilo
lab and manufacturing.Key Responsibilities for Research Scientist Job Role:
1. Strategic Responsibilities

Design innovative and efficient synthetic routes aligned with project timelines and regulatory requirements.

Contribute to technology differentiation strategies enhancing scientific credibility and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Analytical, QA/QC, Regulatory) to enable integrated drug development solutions.

2. Operational Responsibilities

Conduct route scouting, literature review, and develop scalable processes using QbD principles.

Perform experiments for reaction optimization, impurity profiling, and process safety assessment.

Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and EHS standards during lab and pilot-scale operations.

Provide technical troubleshooting during scale-up and client audits.

Qualifications & Experience for Research Scientist Job Role:

M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) / Ph.D.

3–7 years of experience in Process R&D, preferably in a CDMO environment.

Strong hands-on expertise in synthesis, scale-up, impurity profiling, and technology transfer.

Familiarity with analytical tools (HPLC, GC, NMR) and regulatory documentation.
Skills Required:

Deep knowledge of organic synthesis and process optimization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
