The School of Chemistry at the University of Hyderabad invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position as part of the latest University of Hyderabad recruitment. The project focuses on “Design and Synthesis of Novel Alkylidene-Based Bis-Heterocycles via Transition-Metal Catalysis or Photo-Catalysis” for a duration of two years.

1Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates with NET or NET-JRF qualifications are preferred.
- Must hold (or be in the final stages of completing) a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
- Strong interest in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms is essential.
- Prior experience in transition-metal catalysis or photocatalysis is an added advantage.
Stipend:
- JRF: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA
- Fellowship initially for 1 year, extendable till the project ends based on performance
