Educational Qualification & Experience
- M.Sc. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with 1–5 years of relevant experience OR
- Ph.D./PDF in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Candidates with research publications in leading journals will be preferred.
Functional/Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of organic and medicinal chemistry.
- Proficient in lab execution, safety protocols, and equipment usage.

Scope of Role
As an Associate Scientist, you will manage client projects by designing and synthesizing molecules per client specifications. You may work independently or supervise a team of chemists to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute reactions to synthesize target molecules.
- Understand project requirements and deliverables as specified by the manager and client.
- Research reaction protocols and literature as needed.
- Efficiently delegate tasks and monitor team members for effective planning and execution.
- Discuss and enforce MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) compliance with the team.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety risks with supervisor guidance.
- Plan and execute reactions using proper reagents and equipment, maintaining specified conditions while minimizing waste.
- Execute multiple reactions in parallel and monitor progress using analytical techniques.
- Apply appropriate workup and purification methods to achieve the desired compound quality.
- Analyze and interpret analytical data, and report findings accurately.
- Meet productivity benchmarks for reactions, steps, compound quality, and project timelines.
- Support project managers in estimating projects, proposing synthetic routes, and assessing risks.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and final project reports.
- Ensure laboratory safety and adherence to quality systems and SOPs.
- Maintain equipment, data integrity, IP confidentiality, and proper documentation of reactions and research findings.
- Guide, train, and develop junior chemists to enhance team productivity and skill development.
