Chemistry Jobs at HoneyWell- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead New Product Development (NPD): Manage cross-functional teams and research solvent-based carbon capture technologies that minimize COâ‚‚ emissions.
- Project Management: Implement Z21 methodologies and ensure timely, cost-effective project execution.
- Pilot Plant Leadership: Oversee pilot plant experiments using Model-Based Design of Experiments (MBDOE) for rapid technology advancement.
- Innovation and IP Development: Drive innovation through invention disclosures and contribute to Honeywell UOP’s patent portfolio.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with business teams to strengthen growth initiatives and address technology gaps.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior scientists and engineers in their professional development.
Chemistry Jobs at HoneyWell- Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Proven ability to lead innovation and R&D projects.
- Experience with carbon capture technologies, particularly solvent-based methods.
- Strong experimental and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technology development and commercialization.
- Deep understanding of chemical and process engineering principles.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with data analysis tools and lab instrumentation.
