Job Purpose and ImpactÂ
The Assistant Manager – QC (Quality Control Chemist) will lead and support daily laboratory operations. This QC Chemist Job involves developing and maintaining the rapid technology platform by delivering accurate analytical results, validating new testing methods, and troubleshooting analytical processes to meet global food quality standards and project deadlines.
Key Accountabilities

Provide analytical support for the Rapid Technology Application platform by releasing precise results and ensuring the testing parameters support the MPA module.

Offer ongoing technical support, investigate quality issues, and implement corrective improvements.

Perform method validation and verification for new testing methods in the laboratory.

Document SOPs, analyze testing trends with data analysis tools, and contribute to continuous improvement in quality systems.

Maintain accurate data records, spreadsheets, graphs, and analytical reports.

Manage data reporting systems across functional teams.

Conduct and participate in ring tests to evaluate and control analytical methods and equipment.

Handle standard issues independently and escalate complex concerns as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for QC Chemist Job

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications for QC Chemist Job:

Ability to work independently with a proactive and positive attitude.

Strong communication and English comprehension skills.

Experience in chemical analysis of oils, fats, starch, and sweeteners.

Expertise in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments such as GC, HPLC, AAS, ICP, and NIR.

Sound understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), method validation, and technical report writing.

Minimum of three years of laboratory experience in the food industry.
