Essential Qualifications required for Project Associate 1 job role:

M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Synthetic Chemistry, or related Life Sciences/Chemical Biology fields.

NET/GATE/equivalent national-level tests-qualified candidates preferred.
Desirable Qualifications for Project Associate 1 job role:

Basic computing skills (MS Office).

Experience in animal experimentation (Mice).

One year of experience in biomaterials characterization, in vivo and in vitro efficacy testing, microbiological sample handling, molecular biology tools, immunological assays, spectroscopy, imaging (SEM/TEM/AFM), and bioimaging.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years (Reservation as per government rules)
Work Assignment:
The hired candidate will assist the PI in conducting critical in vitro and in vivo animal experiments, document project-related work, maintain records, and manage expenditures.
Pay Scale: INR 31,000 per month + HRA as per rules of IISER Kolkata
