Piramal Group invites fresh graduates in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry to apply for the Apprentice – Pilot Plant role in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to company policies, cGMP standards, and all relevant safety protocols.
- Follow SOPs during routine and critical operations.
- Maintain proper online documentation of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), equipment cleaning logs, and daily checklists.
- Execute batch production activities under the guidance of the In-charge, aligning with the production plan.
- Verify the availability and quality of raw materials before initiating batch processes.
- Check equipment condition and readiness prior to operation, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
- Report discrepancies in process, safety, or procedures immediately.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QC, QA, Warehouse, R&D, AR&D, Technical Services, and Safety.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
