- Education: Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 0–4 years of relevant practical experience in Downstream Manufacturing for biopharmaceuticals, specifically with CHO cell lines for monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins, etc.
Role-specific responsibilities include:
This Executive Job will consist of the following responsibilities:
- Maintain good aseptic behavior inside the BMP1 facility.
- Perform all Downstream activities: assembly preparation, accessories arrangement, dispensing of raw materials and consumables, reconciliation, buffer preparation, harvest clarification, chromatography operation, low pH and intermediate depth filtration, viral filtration, TFF operation, and 0.2 µ filtration.
- Operate and clean downstream equipment(s) as per SOPs and EOP.
- Monitor and control downstream operations.
- Maintain quality records.
- Perform in-process product sampling, sample submission, and storage.
- Take responsibility for the assigned DSP area as the room owner.
- Perform equipment/instrument ownership-related responsibilities for DSP.
- Initiate complaint slips/work orders for DSP areas and equipment.
- Coordinate with QA for line clearance.
- Maintain the process area and facility in a ready state at all times for inspection/audit.
- Support the execution of batches and perform error-free operations as per BMR.
- Ship samples/final products according to the packing and dispatch records.
- Work proactively to ensure the timely closure of documents.
- Execute protocols related to downstream activities and equipment/instrument qualification.
- Track work order status and ensure timely closure.
- Issue annexures, RM, consumables, and BMRs.
