Position Details:
- Post Name: Project Assistant (Chemistry)
- Number of Posts: 01 (One)
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Applied, or General Chemistry) with at least 60% marks
- Preference: Candidates with hands-on experience in organic synthesis and working knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry will be preferred
- Age Limit: 35 years as on the date of the walk-in interview
- Tenure: Initially 6 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements
- Emoluments: ₹25,000/- per month (consolidated)

Candidates must bring the following at the time of the walk-in interview:
Duly filled prescribed application form (available via the ‘Apply Now’ link under the advertisement on the IISER Pune website)
Originals and one set of self-attested copies of:
- Certificate of date of birth
- Educational qualification mark sheets and certificates (10th onwards)
- Certificates of experience (if any)
- Valid Government-issued photo identity proof
One recent passport-size color photograph
Important Notes:
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically with the project.
- No claim for regularization/absorption in IISER Pune or the funding agency.
- The number of posts may vary depending on requirements.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Possession of the minimum qualification does not guarantee selection for candidates. If the number of applicants is large, the screening committee may limit the number of candidates for interviews.
