Job Description
As a Chemist/Officer Job for Chemistry in API Production at Global Calcium, you will be responsible for maintaining production operations in compliance with cGMP, ISO, and HACCP standards. The role involves handling equipment, managing raw materials, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in the workplace in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines.
  • Operate and clean equipment as per SOPs.
  • Receive and store raw material in the day stock area as per the Material Requisition Slip.
  • Execute production processes as per the manufacturing and packing record instructions.
  • Follow safety rules and precautions strictly in the manufacturing area.
  • Conduct in-process checks and maintain proper documentation.
  • Ensure production facilities are clean and disinfected when necessary.
  • Maintain records for premises and equipment in respective regions.
  • Handle blending, packing, and labeling of finished goods.
  • Carry out food safety activities and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify the availability of raw materials and finished goods in the production facility.
  • Perform any other production tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Qualification

BSc/MSc in Chemistry

Experience and Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in API production (freshers with strong knowledge may also apply).
  • Understanding of cGMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & HACCP standards.
  • Familiarity with equipment operation, cleaning, and documentation procedures.
  • Knowledge of raw material handling, blending, packing, and labeling in API production.
  •  Strong documentation ability, safety compliance, and attention to detail.
  •  Willingness to work in shifts and ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
