Job Description
The Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) will work on the ICMR-funded project titled “Netrin-1 Centric Precision Therapy for Cervical Cancer Treatment by Integrating Computer Modelling, Experimental Methods, and Nano formulation with Protein-ligand Interactions.” The role involves computational modeling, bioinformatics, and data analysis to support experimental investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in computational chemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, and molecular modeling.
- Perform Molecular Dynamics Simulations and Density Functional Theory (DFT) studies.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets for protein-ligand interactions.
- Collaborate closely with experimental teams for nano formulation and precision therapy development.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and contribute to publications.
- Maintain research documentation and compliance with project protocols.
Qualifications

Essential: First-class postgraduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) in Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology, Biophysics, BioSciences, Chemical Biology, Bioinformatics, or related areas.

Desirable:
- Experience in Computational Biology/Chemistry, Bioinformatics, and Molecular Dynamics Simulations.
- Programming knowledge in Python and experience with big data analysis.
- Familiarity with Density Functional Theory (DFT).
- Age Limit: Not above 35 years as of 30.09.2025 (relaxable as per Govt. of India rules).
Fellowship

Rs. 56,000/- per month + 20% HRA
