Your Role:
- Process R&D, Custom synthesis, Scale-Up & Pilot plant
- Kilo Lab Production
- Characterization using IR, NMR, HPLC, and Mass
- Product planning and scheduling
- Process improvements and troubleshooting expertise
- Organic chemical synthesis
Mandate:
- Hands-on experience in process R&D, custom synthesis, scale-up, pilot plant, Kilo Lab, and small-scale catalog production
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, and asymmetric synthesis
- Skilled in handling 1–50 litre scale reactions, workup, purification, and product characterization (NMR, IR, GC, HPLC, Mass, elemental analysis)
- Experience handling pyrophoric and moisture-sensitive reactions at 20L scale
- Ability to manage independent reactions in shifts
- Expertise in purification techniques such as high vacuum distillation, recrystallization, and column chromatography
- Proficiency in process development and scale-up to pilot plant, including tech transfer processes
- Knowledge of chemical industry safety standards
