Job Description
As a Research Engineer (Process Research Scientist), you will drive process scale-up activities, optimize manufacturing operations, and collaborate closely with process teams. This role involves frequent travel within India and abroad, providing exposure to diverse projects and cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with process teams to scale up production processes and improve efficiency.
- Apply expertise in process scale-up to drive innovations and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement statistical methods to analyze data and enhance performance.
- Scale up new products and processes in plants.
- Ensure global safety communications and protocols are followed.
- Travel frequently and spend time on-site at manufacturing plants.
Qualifications
- PhD / ME / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Material Science
- 2–5 years of experience in the construction materials industry or related field
- Strong understanding of process scale-up and optimization techniques
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel frequently and spend time at plant locations
Preferred:
- Experience in the construction materials industry
- Familiarity with process engineering software and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
