Job Description
The selected candidate will work on a Department of Science and Technology (DST)-funded project titled “Development and performance demonstration of single-pass antifouling reverse osmosis desalination membrane and modules in seawater desalination plant” (Project No. GAP2169). The work will be carried out at the Membrane Science and Separation Technology (MSST) Division of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experimental research in membrane science and desalination.
- Support the development of antifouling reverse osmosis desalination membranes and modules.
- Collaborate with the project team for successful project execution and data analysis.
- Document research findings and contribute to reports and publications.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry.
- Candidates with CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE or equivalent national-level exams conducted by Central Government Departments (like DST/DBT) are eligible for ₹31,000 + HRA.
- Others will be eligible for ₹25,000 + HRA.
- Age limit: 35 years as on the last date of application (relaxation as per CSIR rules).
