Job Description
As an Apprentice – Production, you will:
- Assist in executing batch and continuous processes according to the production plan.
- Support quality assurance for recovered solvents and products.
- Issue permits for maintenance activities in the Solvent Recovery Unit (SRU).
- Maintain progressive documentation in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Clean equipment during campaign changeovers.
- Report near-miss incidents or accidents immediately.
- Help prepare daily reports (batch cycle time, water consumption, manpower details, stock).
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
- Maintain current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards and adhere to good housekeeping practices.
- Participate in training programs during plant shutdowns.
- Attend daily safety talks to promote awareness.

Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and safety management skills
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of process equipment operation and utility systems
- Chemical Handling: Ability to handle solvents and hazardous chemicals such as Sodium cyanide, Cuprous cyanide, Sodium amide, and Lithium aluminium hydride (LAH)
