Educational Qualification
M.Sc./B.Sc. in Chemistry
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in API manufacturing or process operations
Job Purpose
The Officer will be responsible for executing API production activities, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with cGMP and EHS guidelines, and supporting smooth plant operations at Amneal’s Vizag site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, ANFD, and allied equipment.
- Execute production batches as per SOPs, cGMP, and EHS standards.
- Maintain batch production records, logbooks, and online documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Support shift operations and achieve production targets.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in scale-up, validation, and technology transfer activities.
- Coordinate with QA/QC/Engineering for troubleshooting.
- Report deviations, breakdowns, or process abnormalities.
- Train junior staff/operators in safe handling of equipment.
- Participate in audits and compliance-related activities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of API manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with reactors, centrifuges, and ANFD.
- Good understanding of cGMP, GDP, and EHS practices.
- Documentation and record-keeping accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
