Job Description
The Wells Completions Engineer will play a key role in providing engineering support across ExxonMobil’s global portfolio. The role emphasizes completions design, stimulation techniques, and well performance modeling to enhance efficiency and deliver sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sand control completions design support using expert advice and company best practices.
- Support carbonate reservoir stimulation design through modeling, analysis, and engineering insights.
- Optimize healthy interventions with advanced COâ‚‚ injection and shut-off strategies.
- Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and global asset teams.
- Promote strong safety practices across all operations.
- Integrate with production, facilities, reservoir, and geoscience teams for synergistic solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (minimum GPA 7.5).
- 2–10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in sand control completions, carbonate stimulation design, and well performance modeling.
- Preferred: Field experience at rig sites or wellsites.
- Knowledge of tools like Prosper, NETool, Pack Pro, Cerberus, and Well Cat (preferred, not mandatory).
Preferred Experience
- Offshore and onshore operations planning and execution.
- Hands-on well performance modeling to optimize production.
