Job Description
Sika is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its Operations Department at the Jhagadia factory. The role requires overseeing production processes in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner, while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and the company’s safety policies. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining equipment, managing manpower, and
driving continuous improvement in production quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the manufacturing of the correct product using the specified raw materials as listed on the batch card and achieve an optimal yield.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and follow autonomous maintenance practices.
- Lead toolbox meetings and delegate shift responsibilities to ensure safe, quality production.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the production area during and after shifts.
- Follow safety, health, and environmental protection procedures and disposal norms.
- Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, weighment registers, calibration sheets, and labeling registers.
- Record shift issues, breakdowns, and maintenance logs for smooth handovers.
- Strictly adhere to systems and procedures as per ISO 9001/14001 standards.
- Manage the workforce effectively to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Enter production data and manage shift inventory efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. (Science) or Diploma in Chemical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–3 years in a production environment.
