Enveda is seeking a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in In Vivo Pharmacology to join our team in Hyderabad, India. The Contribution You Will Make
The successful candidate will provide support and expertise to establish and validate in-vivo models/assays relevant to therapeutic areas, aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
As a Member of the Biology Team, You Will
- Work closely with discovery specialists, disease area scientists, and in vivo team members.
- Contribute to ongoing drug discovery programs by conducting in vivo efficacy and mechanistic studies for new chemical entities (NCEs).
- Establish new in vivo disease models and validate physiologically relevant endpoints and biomarkers of translational significance.
- Perform statistically supported data analysis and deliver results promptly to support informed decision-making.
- Understand systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Record experimental data and observations in the company-specified format.
- Prepare, review, and deliver scientific presentations for internal and external use.
- Participate in cross-functional team activities and add value to research projects with creative ideas.
- Learn from world-class drug discovery scientists and gain training in people skills.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
- M.Pharm/M.S in Pharmacology with 0–5 years of research experience in academic or industrial R&D settings.
- Strong understanding of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and physiology, along with in vivo disease model development, validation, and testing.
- Preferred prior experience in small animal handling, dosing through different administration routes, dissections, tissue harvesting, tissue processing, and biomarker evaluations (e.g., qPCR, Western Blot, ELISA).
- Basic knowledge of the drug discovery process.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic, scientific curiosity, and a “can-do, will-do” attitude.
- Familiarity with electronic lab notebook systems.
