The Centre of Biomedical Research (CBMR), Lucknow, is an autonomous research institute established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Project Details
- Project Title: Biocatalytic Method for the Asymmetric Synthesis of Pharmaceutically Important Substituted Benzodiazepines, Benzoxazepines, and Benzothiazepines using Imine Reductases
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Vacancies: 01
- Emoluments: ₹37,000/month (first two years), ₹42,000/month (third year)
- Tenure: Till December 2025 (extendable up to six months)
- Location: SGPGIMS Campus, Raebareli Road, Lucknow – 226014, Uttar Pradesh, India
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:

Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or equivalent.

Must qualify through one of the following:

National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

National-level examinations conducted by Government departments/agencies (DST, DBT, DRDO, ICMR, ICAR, IISc, IIT, IISER, NISER, etc.).

Desirable:
-
Practical research experience in organic synthesis.
Age Limit:
-
Maximum 28 years.

Relaxations: 5 years (SC/ST/PH/VH/female) and 3 years (OBC – non-creamy layer).
