Job Description
The Manager, Medical Information will be a vital part of the Medical Affairs team, leveraging therapeutic and product expertise to oversee communications on Azurity’s products. This role includes managing medical information requests, providing scientific insights, and supporting internal teams with accurate clinical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and technical product knowledge in response to inquiries from healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate responses to unsolicited requests for medical information.
- Guide and support the Medical Information Call Center, including escalated cases and staff training.
- Maintain a robust product knowledge database with updated scientific resources.
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends and knowledge gaps.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, and Regulatory.
- Review new data to update content and ensure accuracy proactively.
- Support internal committees (PMRC and SRC) with balanced medical information.
- Assist with Medical Affairs-related legal contracts and other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, PhD preferred).
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in health sciences (RN, RPh, PA, NP) may also be considered.
- Minimum of 1+ years’ professional experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Information.
- Postdoctoral training, fellowship, or clinical residency experience preferred.
